Film Review: Dead Mail

What happens to undeliverable mail? This pseudo-docu mentary-horror film explores what possibilities are out there for this unclaimed mail. From the beginning, we become fa miliar with the inner workings of this Midwest post office in the 1980s. We see two postal workers Ann (Micki Jackson) and Bess (Susan Priver) describing the incredible work of Jasper (Tomas Boykin). How he always finds the owner of the lost package or letter. So, when a strange, bloodstained envelope shows up with a nondescript address attached, it is that kind of piece that probably should get tossed, but in stead Jasper takes it on. At some point, Trent (John Fleck) appears on the scene with a vested interest in the letter as things begin to unravel. The film truly captures the perfect documentary style. Even after the film, much of the audi ence couldn’t believe it wasn’t a true story.
