Madagascar 3: Flucht durch Europa (Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted)
U.S.A. 2012

Opening 4 Oct 2012

Directed by: Eric Darnell
Writing credits: Eric Darnell, Noah Baumbach
Principal actors: Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, Sacha Baron Cohen

Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo and Melman the Giraffe are still trying to get back home to New York City, and the Central Park Zoo, after ending up crash landing in continental Africa. Before they can return, they must find the Penguins who have since moved on to Monte Carlo. On the way there, the animals accidentally attract the attention of Animal Control and must join a travelling circus so that they can travel through Europe unnoticed and get back to New York City.

With the contribution of voice talents from many famous actors such as Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer and Jada Pinkett Smith, Madagascar 3 is a fun romp for small and large. While it may be a little difficult to follow in the beginning if one has not seen the first two movies, it quickly becomes enjoyable for everyone as the action flows deftly from one scene to another. With strong themes of friendship and trust, the film is a pleasant family film with good values and cute comedy. (Rose Finlay)
