That’s How You Do It: A Divine Diva
by Pat Frickey

Sharon Stone oozed Hollywood glamor when she stepped on the red carpet in Dolce & Gabbana at the Berlinale Palast. Her elegant sleevelessck-plunging white gown was set off by a voluminous, puffy-collared black cape that she playfully tugged at, slid up and down, swirled, and draped over her shoulders. Every step she took was glamorous, every move conjured a deliberate sumptuous look. Fortunately, her companions could play lady/gentleman-in-waiting to smooth out the cape behind her. She posed and posed and posed for the photographers. She met dignitaries, signed autographs, and schmoozed just the right amount for a divine diva. What a magnificent performance! Once inside the theater, she walked leisurely to her seat to join Martin Scorsese’s entourage as he was being honored that evening with the Honorary Golden Bear. She has known Scorsese since starring as Ginger in his film CASINO in 1995, and her red-carpet appearance added the sparkle of Hollywood magic to his special night.
