Seattle director Megan Griffiths uses the theme of family relationships in her award winning short Moving. The dramatic narrative addresses the consequence from selfish decisions made in the name of love and the impact it has upon each family member.
While working on this short under the SIFF challenge restraints, Megan was reminded of how much she enjoyed working on a film set. She did not know it in advance, but she actually knew some of the actors in the professional actors’ pool provided by the competition and was able to use them in her film. It was a joy to use them while executing a quality product for the SIFF competition.
