Anyone who lovingly remembers that "insecure, wishy-washy failure" Charlie Brown will not be disappointed by The Peanuts Movie. Produced in eye-popping 3D computer-animated graphics, this movie stays true to Charles M. Schulz's comic strip and legacy. A laugh-out-loud good time for young and old alike.

The plot centers around Charlie Brown's quest to change his fate by getting the Little Red-Haired Girl to notice him. A winning talent show and school dance should catapult him into her world, but alas, all attempts seem to fail. In the end, it's Charlie Brown's "kindness, compassion, bravery, and honesty" that win her over. All of the main Peanuts characters pop off the screen in brilliant detail. A subplot focusing on Snoopy's love affair with Fifi is interwoven among classic scenes featuring the Red Baron flying acrobatics, the Kite-Eating Tree, the schoolyard, and Lucy's Psychiatric Help booth. Although the graphics are very sophisticated, the storyline is easily followed by even the youngest moviegoers, and Snoopy and Woodstock play out their silly antics to keep audiences laughing continuously.
